An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional tractor driver/ general farm worker to join our progressive, family run business. We are based on The South Downs near Brighton farming a 2000 acre block.

With a fleet of modern farm machinery, we are running 400 acres of combinable crops plus contracting farming a further 400. In addition we have a 150 cow suckler herd with progeny being fattened and 1450 breeding ewes with lambs being fattened.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a good sense of humour to join our small team and hit the ground running.

The role will be mainly tractor based and would include

Silage/ hay making

Harvest, Grain, bale cart

Spraying

Drilling, cultivating

Muck spreading

Feeding/bedding up

cattle/sheep handling

Fencing

The role requires a full UK Driving licence. A tele-handler and PA1/PA2 ticket would be an advantage but not essential.
