Lambing Shepherd wanted: - Opportunity to travel North (Travel provided or reimbursed) to the Shetland Islands and take part in lambing 480 ewes in the hills of the mainland isle.

All housed inside, in a state-of-the-art sheep shed, and then released out into the surrounding arable/hill land once strong. Ewes breads Texel cross, Aberfeld cross and Shetland/lleyn cross. Bulk of ewes run to Suffolk and Texel ram and rest are run to Aberfeld, lleyn and Shetland.

Interested candidates would be expected to work either day or nightshift shift and our preferred candidate would someone looking for an adventure and an attitude to come and learn but experienced farm hands can also apply and will be considered. Head Farmer fully qualified, from Aberdeen College, with HND in agriculture, with over 30 years experienced and willing to pass knowledge on.

Dates 20th of April for 4 weeks. Ideal for someone looking to finish off their season.
