We are a dairy, beef and arable farm based in Shropshire - between Shrewsbury and Church Stretton. We currently have 260 Dairy Herd milked twice a day through a herringbone parlour. All calves are reared as Dairy Replacements or Beef through to finishing.

We supply milk on a supermarket aligned contract and as such have made and continue to make significant investment in a range of modern farm buildings to support a high welfare standard.

Key Responsibilities:

•Role duties vary and will include the morning milking shift and afternoon milking as required on rotation through a herringbone parlour.

•Feeding cows & youngstock on a TMR diet.

•Shed cleaning, young stock work, and tractor driving as required.

•We try to keep maintenance in house, engineering and mechanical skills are a bonus but not essential.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

•You must enjoy working with livestock.

•Have farm work experience.

•Be local to the site or prepared to relocate for work.

•Have / be prepared to train for a Telehandler Certificate and other livestock related courses.

Salary & Benefits Package:

•Competitive pay rate to be discussed.

•Free Accommodation available - Static Caravan - which is quite modern and sited within the farm building complex. It is not suitable for children or pets. For the right candidate a 3 bed semi-detached house in the local village can be made available.

•50 hour working week.

•This is a permanent full-time position.

•Every other weekend off, including Friday where possible.
