Could you be the GFW/stockperson to work in a self-relieving team of four led by the livestock manager on a premier supermarket supplying unit near Marlborough?

• 300 Holstein cows calve all year round


• Youngstock include all dairy replacements plus crossbred calves reared to be sold as stores


• TMR fed, cubicle housed, yield 9,500 litres 


• Milked through a modern milking and handling set up including a 20:40 Westphalia parlour with ADF, auto feeding and auto drafting


• Cows run in a freshly calved group to receive close attention, then high and low groups

We require a GFW/Stockperson who can undertake relief milking, bedding, tractor driving and livestock management duties.  Loader work is an important part of the job, but training can be provided to the right candidate.  All of the team of four involved at the dairy undertake milking and you will have some milking duties, particularly when the livestock manager and dedicated herdsperson are absent.
