We are recruiting for a full-time farm foreman/ head operator position. We farm 1800 acres in Essex. Farming a range of cereals, legumes and stewardship schemes, across six farms.

We are looking for an experienced arable foreman/ head operator to join our team, capable of overseeing and training staff, as well as maintaining machinery to a high standard.

The candidate will have the following:

• Passion about farming


• Be an experienced sprayer operator


• Have obtained as a minimum pa1 and pa2 certification


• Chainsaw and telehandler tickets


• Expect long hours when required to get the job done


• Experienced workshop skills and fabricating


• Extensive combine and drill operating history


• Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence


• 360 excavator knowledge and experience


• Experience using Gatekeeper would be an advantage


• Experience walking crops and liaising with the agronomist and ordering pesticides
