Experienced and enthusiastic stockperson sought for extensive hill farm in the west highlands. We run a single suckler beef herd of around 300 blue grey cattle and around 2,500 blackface and cheviot sheep. Wintering of young stock and finishing is done on our sister farm on the Black Isle. The farm extends to over 27,000 acres on which we also have commercial forestry, sporting and holiday accommodation.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated to complement our existing team and bring new skills and experience to help develop everything we do.

The role will include oversight of stock, calving, lambing, feeding cattle through winter, grassland management in summer, tractor work including silaging, and general farm work and maintenance of fences.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative as an integral part of a well and long established team. Ideally someone who has working dogs and is honest, likeable and responsible and is up for helping us to continue to modernise and improve on what is a very successful farming operation.
