Enthusiastic, experienced stockperson required for busy livestock farm with 1200 lambing ewes,120suckler cows and fattening unit. Beds/Bucks borders. The successful candidate to be responsible for the day to day management of the cattle inc feeding TMR and bedding down. plus some tractor and sheep work.

1000 acres. Producing top end breeding/fatstock. All breeding stock are home produced with any surplus sold at local breeding sales.Stock for further finishing alongside our own are purchased once lamb/ fatstock numbers are reduced.

It is hoped the successful applicant for this progressive long term position will assume responsibility for the day to day management of the livestock in their care being in charge of vaccination/worming programme etc.

The candidate:

• Candidate to work as part of team of 4 but must be able to work on own initiative


• A good knowledge of grassland management will be a great asset


• Driving licence (inc. trailer towing) essential

Any candidate with mechanical/maintenance skills would be looked upon favourably.
