Responsibilities include all the day to day jobs involved in looking after the cows and followers.

• We farm 570 hectares with 430ha utilised by 600+ block calving cows and followers


• A modern 40 : 80 parlour for twice-daily milking on an excellent cheese contract


• Grass based system supplemented with parlour concentrates


• Self feed silage in winter for 400 cows with silage from bunkers for the rest

• Most recently we have invested in the parlour, cow tracks, electric foot crush, shedding gate and auto footbath

Required skills:

• Enthusiasm


• Excellent stockperson


• Ability to work in a team


• Current driving licence and forklift certificate


• AI and foot trimming trained


• Grassland management experience
