Herdspersonon a 400 Cow milking herd

We are a Family run farm looking to expand, we run modern technology throughout the farm and are always looking to try the next best thing.

Milking twice a day through a 36 point internal parlour. Our Pedigree Holsteins produce 10k litres and high solids as we sell to a cheese producer.

Your role would include:

• Morning Mmilkings, Ai and foot trimming routines


• Milking rotors with current relief milkers and day to day maintenance on Parlour to keep it up to the high standard we have today

The successful candidate:

• Experience in this field, applications wont be considered unless previous experience can be shown


• We use SenseHub collars as well for milking herd and serving heifers so being handy around technology is important


• Must have a high standard in cleanliness and high standard of practice


• We ask for 2 references from your previous employers if possible


• Must have a Full English driving licence

Accommodation: We have a 3 bed semi-detached cottage which will be available to the right applicant, but as there is a tenant living there currently this will not be right away, temporary accommodation can be discussed.

Job can start as soon as possible.
