Job Title: General Farm Worker

Location: Cambridgeshire 

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile General Farm Worker for our large-scale arable farm in Cambridgeshire. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with a strong foundation in farm operations, machinery, and workshop skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fieldwork: Conduct drilling, cultivations, and fertiliser spreading to support our arable unit throughout the growing season.


• Telehandler Operations: Assist with telehandler work during peak summer months, supporting during harvest and other seasonal activities.


• Groundworks & Digger Operations: Operate farm diggers for groundworks, ditches, and other infrastructure needs, and assist with general maintenance around the farm.


• Workshop Maintenance: Perform repairs, servicing, and fabrications to maintain the farms equipment and machinery.


• Adaptable Support: Flexibly assist with additional tasks around the farm, ensuring operations run smoothly year-round.

Requirements:

• Experience in drilling, cultivations, and fertiliser spreading.


• Skilled in digger operations and workshop maintenance.


• Proficiency in telehandler use is beneficial.


• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse tasks across the farm.
