I have experience with using a scraper tractor as well as telehandlers as I use them daily.

I have done lambing for the past 5 years. My dairy experience comes from my part time job working on a 900 cow 80 point rotary parlour. I have also worked on a 24/24 herringbone parlour as well. I am currently working on a 32 point internal rotary parlour milking 360 cows a day. The past 2 years i have been working very closely with our herd manager learning from him with all the duties that happens on a daily basis.

I am have worked on a 26 swing over herringbone parlour in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. I am was the assistant herdsman there doing jobs varying from vet routines to calf feeding.

I am currently working in a 850+ flying herd with a 50 point rotary parlour in Herefordshire. My daily tasks include scraping, bedding, feeding as well as milking.

Farming background

working on dairy farms for the past 8 years i have learnt most things from helping with calving to treating ill cows. Day to day duties would include bedding up as well as looking after the main stock i would also help out with the calf rearing as well.
