Driven Many makes - Mainly JD and New Holland. Worked for local contractor mainly silage and 360 work. Worked abroad (New Zealand) - 1 year Well known contractors. Fendt 924/John Deere 7930/8530/New Holland 265 all aspects - Silage, maize, Stack Driver, Loader Wagon (Strautmann Longest wagon), Drilling, Ploughing, Discing, Fert spread, Mowing. New Zealand was a very mountainous place, lots of work conducted whilst the front wheels were off the ground. Washplant experience (mainly T-Rex) also Crushing and quarry equiptment. - Loading shovels, telehandlers. Currently site manager and technician with an international arable breeding station.

Sheep/Lamb/Beef - all main duties carried out for local hill farmer. Reared a handful of pigs and goats Dairy - New Zealand only 3 weeks experience. Did before Arable season took off. Poultry small scale

Farming background

Arable Contracted for more than 5 seasons. Wanted to be able to fix my own gear - Worked as a MIG welder (structural mild steel) Worked in 4x4 and Farm garages to pick up the mechanics side of things, also owned my own 4x4s which became learning projects. Worked as a forest worker - Clear felling for holiday parks but also thinning and coppicing regeneration projects for conservation and in keeping with land. Worked as a heritage builder also civil - pipe laying draining. (Heritage contractor - as i wanted to gain true knowledge in the keeping of farms and old buildings. Became a washplant foreman carrying out any task nesscasary in order to keep the plant running. Repairs on anything broken, leaising with customers, smooth running and management of water, health and safety conscious and maintaining a calm environment even if something broke (daily basis)
