Farming background

I have a Btec in first diploma of agriculture from Moulton college Northampton and a Btec in Land Based Service Engineering from Melton Brooksby college Melton Mowbray .I can also weld and fabricate. Since leaving college in 2008 I have been on various farm across the Midlands and Wales to see how livestock husbandry of feeding and handling of cattle and sheep can be done safely and productively for my family farm . In 2015 I setup my own small contracting company selling hay, haylage and straw in to the equine market but that came to an abrupt stop in 2020 as covid hit since then I took a year out to focus myself and in 2022 I found work at the cosy club Stamford pot washing then came back in to farm by working on a poultry farm collecting eggs and doing general farm tasks. I am currently on a dairy farm doing most of the milking but want new challenges and new certificates to advance my career. My previous work has taken me to some lovely areas of the uk and I have gain experience on all farms either in livestock or arable and I have also been working in the renewable energy sector and have a general knowledge of the workings and maintenance of and anaerobic digestion site and of a bio oils recovery site
