Farming background

Having grown up on a small Essex Farm I am used to most Farm tasks and operating heavy machinery. After completing an HND in Engineering in 2000 I went on to work in Aviation for 15 years, specialising in logistics, and setting up and running two of my own companies. I finished with Aviation 7 years ago and since then have been working on Various Farms. I then managed a 300acre Organic farm with Longhorn Cattle, Native Breed Sheep, Pigs and Chickens. We were Higher Level Stewardship and are also involved in other conservation schemes such the Newt Conservation Partnership. I am as happy working in the office as I am out working livestock/machinery.

I currently manage FAI Farms, we are a mixed Organic regenerative farm in Oxford. I am responsible for the breeding and profitability of the Suckler herd, and also around 80ha of Arable. I manage the Higher level stewardship and SFI schemes, as well as various research projects involving Oxford University.
