Farming background

been involved in the agricultural sector all my days, haveing grown up on a farm my father being stock manager, i was always out doing something be it stock or helping fencing from a young age, upon leaving school i attended angus collage where i acheived best student 2005, up on till this point i worked for local farmers and my father with stock work potato lifting/planting and grain drying etc from 2005-2012 i worked for a local agricultural dealer as a parts person, a contractor and a machinery ring being sent out to do a range of jobs around the farms in aberdeenshire and angus from 2012-2016 i spent 6months of the year in new zealand working for a contractor and the remainder in the uk planting potatoes, managing a grain dryer for a large arable farm, pea vining for a local company, i was then offered a foreman postion with the pea company in 2015 and returned to scotland march 2016 to start my job with ecv peas and beans looking after a drilling team and 2 cultivators in keeping them in seed and telling them feilds that need sowed etc a full vining season again and then a winter in the workshop stripping and rebuilding the viners replacing bearings etc in october 2017 i decided that id like to return to new zealand where i worked for central feeds in canterbury until may 2018 when i got a job on a high country station here i was the senior machinery operator where i direct drill all the crops using a quadtrack 600 and crosslot drill, fertiliser , mowing, baling, chopping, silage pits, baling , combineing machinery servicing ,repairing etc and stock work when required I'm currently back working for a friend who I've worked 4 previous seasons for in the high country contracting I turn my hand to most jobs that are required here I'm usually driving a scania p360 fert spreader during colder months and a scania 480 truck and 4axle trailer delivering baleage or picking up wool. I do most of the precision planting fodder beat and swedes etc and all of the stack work on the chop squad , my visa runs out in september 2021 when i don't think ill be issued anther due to the time i've been in the country already, I'm keeping all my options open and if the right position came up back in the uk to be nearer family friends etc i would seriously consider it
