I have completed an 18 month dairy herdsman apprenticeship, qualifying me as a trained herdsmen, this is in association with Plumpton Agricultural College and an agricultural services company.This is on a 200 head dairy farm supplying to a large supermarket.Prior to this I was a General Farm Hand to a 200 head dairy farm in Northern Ireland.Duties including, normal dairy work, slurry and muck spreading, silage harvesting with a JF Harvester, silage and hay bale collecting, rolling, and general maintenance work including fencing.
