Hiya! I'm Mica. I'm 28 and living in Swindon, Wiltshire. My fiance and I are looking for a change of pace and I'd like to put my agricultural experience to use. I am a resourceful team player and I have a passion for the outdoors. Approachable, humorous and always willing to go the extra mile.

I have a clean car licence that I've held for nearly 10 years. I've done bits of driving in tractors/ tractors and trailers delivery manure to local fields. I have also done a little bit of rigid lorry work (on private land), mostly using roll on/roll off skips.
My experience is mainly equine. However, I have done lambing over the years, including bottle feeding and docking their tails. This also included dipping of the sheep and general yard maintenance. On the same far, there were also cows which required hay daily and general health checks to make sure there were no injuries. I currently volunteer at a yard with goats and chickens (including 14 horses), my usual day includes feeding, administering medication, general yard maintenance, maintaining animal welfare and keeping the barns and coops clean.

I'm very aware that I may not have the experience within the exact roles that I am looking for. However, I want to make incredibly clear that what I lack in current knowledge, I am willing to work hard to learn. I am very enthusiastic and would ask for a chance to be given to prove this.

None.
Lackham College 2013-2015. Experienced in working on stud yards, event yards and family run livery yards.
May 2018. I was covering on a small family run farm, doing the daily duties with lambing and feeding of the cows.
February 2018 - June 2024. Volunteering on a DIY livery yard. There was a very high standard that had to be kept to here and I took pride in doing so. Daily duties would include exercising the horses, feeding, grooming, stable management, administering medication and carrying out basic first air when/if needed.

I am quite open on location. I am very lucky to be in a position where I can move if I were to find the perfect job. To be honest it would be preferred to move away from the area we currently live. However, this would only be doable if there were accommodation involved. Again we are not fussy on if this is a static caravan or something else.
