I have extensive stock experience working with sheep and cattle over the last 5 years. Initially, on a family-owned farm, and now (last 3 years), working for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. I have experience of all practical aspects of a stockperson role including lambing, calving, feeding, bedding up, scraping out, administering preventative and reactive medication and treatment, castration, and de-horning. I am committed, reliable and flexible to the reactive demands of a farming role and am used to working outside in all weathers. I also have experience in livestock sale/purchase, stock performance and monitoring, record keeping, grazing management (assessing grazing pressure against management plans and agri-environmental scheme targets), farm regulation and policy adherence.
