Mynachdyu Farm, Llanfairynghornwy Farm Hand 2023

Responsibilities included:

Milking the cows twice a day. Mucking out the cow shed, feeding the animals. Administering

medication when required and reporting any changes in animal behavior. Testing and fixing

solar panel electric fencing and any other maintenance jobs required.

Bodowyr Isaf, Llangaffo- Lambing Assistant March 2023 - April 2023

During this season I was responsible for the following:

Lambing Identifying labor-induced sheep, and being alert to their needs. Keeping a distance

unless necessary to reduce stress to mother and lamb. When need assist to deliver.

Bottlefeeding the lambs ensures they are provided with colostrum for a healthy start.

Maintaining the Farm machinery ensuring they were well-oiled and greased.

Plas Lligwy, Dulas - Lamber - April 2023 - April 2023

During this season I was given the responsibility of lambing independently. I found this really

rewarding.

Pen Parc, Gadfa - Farm Assistant - July 2021 - Present

I have worked for this farm during busy periods in between working other jobs. I have gained

valuable skills and experiences which I have enjoyed. TB Testing, Ultrasound scanning

checking for numbers of pregnancies and color coding.
