No experience, but keen to learn and picks up practical skills quickly
Work experience on a dairy farm milking a few hundred jersey morning and afternoon, grown up with horses and gained experience at university - currently working in a lab, but fast at picking up practical skills.
I also worked at Odds Farm Park during their lambing season where some had Orf disease so I had to be careful in how these lambs were looked after and to make sure it wasn't spread.
Female
Hard working, strong female, not shy to get stuck in and learn something new. I thrive outdoors and with the animals and can pick up practical skills very quickly. Have great attention to detail, can work in a team or alone to time constraints and am experienced following legislation frameworks.

Working in biological research for 10 years, working with rodents but broad experience of animal handling and have grown up around large animals and livestock and have done work experience at Whipsnade zoo, dairy farm, odds farm park during lambing and equine vets practices. I am confident around large animals, happy to get stuck in and not shy of a challenge. I know farm work is hard, but it's something I want to learn more about, and progress into a career where I can learn the industry and make an impact. My ambition is to become a farm manager in time and manage herds, working my way up from a herdsperson, but need someone to give me the chance to prove myself regardless of my lack of experience. At 17 I was waking up at 2am to milk, without getting paid for it so you can be sure I work hard and am invested in the work.
