- John Deere GPS (RTK/Starfire) experience including John Deere operations centre

- Trimble GPS

- 24m Agribuggy AB30 self-propelled sprayer (Limited experience less than a year as only passed PA2 recently)

- Combination (Accord 3m) and direct/zero till drill (John Deere 750A)

- Class tucano combine and haldrup/wintersteiger plot combines

- Class jaguar 850 forage harvester (used on biomass/willow)

- McHale Fusion 2 baler/wrapper combo as well as all associated grassland operations (mowing, tedding, raking etc)

- Primary/secondry cultivations (Horsch Joker, 4 and 5 furrow reversible ploughs (Kvernland/Dowdeswell))

- Telehandler experinece (stacking bales, loading grain lorries, pushing up grain etc)

Tickets/Certifications

- BASIS Foundation award in agronomy

- PA1, PA2, PA4S, PA4G, PA6, PA11 and NROSO up-to-date

- C&G Telehandler

- C&G Tractor driving

- C&G 360 excavators (up to 10 ton)

- C&G Brushcutters and strimmers

Other livestock experience

Minimal experience in lambing and calving <2 weeks. Moving cows and mucking out with a scraper tractor, bedding up with a teagle bale spreader

Farming background

Came from an IT and light vehicle mechanic background. Worked on both commercial and trial sides but mainly got pushed into the field trials work.

Also took a few weeks off from this to try livestock work down in Devon on a beef and sheep farm. Really enjoyed my short time there and would enjoy any opportunity to learn more/work more with animals.
