Tractor driving - In my previous experience driving a John Deere tractor for a summer grain carting, I developed strong skills in precision operation and equipment handling. This role required me to efficiently transport grain from the fields to storage, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining high safety standards. I became adept at coordinating with combine operators to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Where I have been out of Ag for some time, I may need some additional support in roles requiring tractor use but I will learn this quickly.

Quadbike use - my previous roles, I have prioritized the safe use of quad bikes as an essential aspect of my work. Own flock -

I have extensive experience in breeding Southdown, Lleyn, and Suffolk sheep, each known for their unique strengths and adaptability. Southdowns are renowned for their excellent meat quality and early maturity, making them a valuable addition for producing prime lambs. Lleyns are highly prolific and efficient, with a strong maternal instinct that enhances lamb survival rates. Meanwhile, Suffolks are prized for their rapid growth rates and high-quality carcasses, contributing to profitable market outcomes. By implementing selective breeding practices, I focus on improving genetic traits, such as fertility, hardiness, and growth performance, ensuring a robust and productive flock that meets market demands. My hands-on approach and attention to detail have fostered a deep understanding of each breed's specific requirements and potential.
