Farming background

My agricultural experience is mainly in organic farming working on a Somerset farm supplying vegetables to a box scheme and for sale at Bath Farmers Market.

Moving on from there to gain experience with livestock I moved to Devon, working as the main person in charge of 3000 laying hens all to organic standards. This job also included helping out with the beef herd, sheep and broilers plus various maintenance roles.

Previous to that I worked in the automotive trade as a recovery driver. I left this job to pursue a career in agriculture.

I have spent the last 8 years working as a HGV driver and heavy plant fitter.

Im currently employed as single maintenance fitter for a large scale concrete plant, this role also involves some man management plus loading shovel and telehandler duties as well as all maintenance, breakdown and repair duties.

I can provide a full CV on request.
