Previous use of quadbikes and quad trailers.
Previously worked 2 years on goat and sheep farm including lambing/kidding, AI, general labor, grazing management. Previously used to train sheepdogs for trial and work, which included regular care of the sheep used.
Completed Practical Lambing Course with a Farm Vets as refresher and to update my skills.
Done ad hoc work over lambing season, including lambing ewes, tubing, administering medicines or injections, tagging, tailing, drenching, vaccinating and foot trimming. Also includes general work such as watering, feeding, monitoring of sick ewes and lambs etc...
Keen attention to detail, especially around animal welfare and husbandry, and happy to work long or odd hours as required.
