Farming background

March 2018 to present - Full Time Cattleman.

650 sucklers plus other farm responsibilities. Looking for a new opportunity after a change in management structure and farming policy.

Nov 2010 to March 18 - Part Time Estate Manager/ Maintenance - Scraesburgh.

Mixed role combining farm jobs, estate maintenance and driving responsibilities. Returned to previous job after 8 years, upon being offered a tempting package.

May 2007 to Nov 10 - Full Time Cattleman. Same as above.

March 2004 to May 07 -Student/ General Farm Worker - East Nisbet. Cattle, sheep and tractor work. Paid off due to retirement.

March 2003 to August 03 - Apprentice Farm Engineer- St Boswells.

Renault tractor maintenance. Whilst I learnt some valuable skills, the company policy was not to send apprentices to college for any mechanical qualifications, so I decided to enrol in the local college to study mixed farming.
