Have experience in all aspects of a mixed dairy/arable farm due to my upbringing, this includes: grain carting bale carting and stacking, silage cutting slurry tanking and operation of an 8 tonne digger mostly establishing new farm tracks.

Have driven a range of brands and sizes of modern tractors as well as extensive experience on telehandlers.

Other livestock experience

Milking in our 28/28 parlour at home solo as well as a 28/56 swingover, can dry off cows and manage mastitis etc. calving cows and all aspects of dairy calf/young stock rearing.

Working with a herd of 150 pure limousine cattle on university placement for second year.

Growing up on a mixed dairy/arable farm

milking our 350 strong herd through a 28/28 parlour.

Calving cows and calf rearing as well as rearing our replacement heifers and beef cross store cattle.

Tractorwork including all aspects of telehandler operation, tanking slurry mowing silage, rolling, bale carting, grain carting, some primary cultivations.

Any other general farm work ranging from fencing and general farm repairs, basic machinery maintenance and erecting sheds.

Duties included solo milking 280 strong herd in 28/56 parlour- dealing with any mastitis or other health issues as well as drying off cows.

Where would you like to work?

Looking to work on a larger arable farm preferably in cultivations, baling etc but I will turn my hand to anything. Accommodation would be required and id preferably be somewhere that I don't need my car/ can get use of a company vehicle.
