Description

A progressive and regenerative farm set in a beautiful Suffolk landscape just a few miles north of Framlingham. We are currently seeking a skilled Sprayer and Combine Operator to join our team. A family-run enterprise focused on sustainability, innovation, and maintaining the natural beauty of our farmed environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Spraying Operations: Operate and maintain the Sands Horizon 4000 sprayer, ensuring accurate and efficient application of crop protection products and fertilisers.

  • Combine Harvesting: Operate a New Holland CR9.90 combine, ensuring timely and effective crop harvesting with minimal losses.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to keep equipment in top condition.

  • Collaborate with the farm team to support other arable operations, including cultivations, drilling, and general farm work.

  • Monitor and record field operations using precision farming technology to optimise crop performance.

  • Work in harmony with regenerative farming principles to support soil health, biodiversity, and sustainability.

  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and comply with environmental regulations.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience operating modern sprayers and combines, preferably with Sands and New Holland machinery.

  • Relevant qualifications in pesticide application (e.g., PA1 and PA2 certificates).

  • A strong understanding of precision farming techniques and GPS systems.

  • Mechanical aptitude for machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Full UK driving licence; telehandler certificate is desirable.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards.
