I have had many years of working with a variety of farm equipment.

My experience includes all types of grass work from mowing with triple mowers to round baling. Cultivation tasks have included ploughing followed by drilling with combi/vaderstad. I am competent at muck spreading and tanking and have vast experience in this area. I have plenty of knowledge of haulage and low loader work. I am adept at hedge cutting and fertiliser spreading.

This is not an exhaustive list of my skills and attributes and I am happy to discuss these further. I would welcome the opportunity to gain more knowledge and experience.

Previous job role was on a mixed beef and arable farm where my primary role was a general farm worker. My responsibilities included calving, calf rearing through to finishing.

I was responsible for daily welfare checks on the herd and assisted with many of the routine husbandry tasks carried out, including administering medications and prophylactic treatments, using different methods such as injections, oral boluses and topical pour on treatments.

In the winter months I was responsible for the winter duties which involved the milling up of a variety of feed stuffs for the fattening cattle as well as feeding and bedding up the entire herd.

I assisted with the record keeping for the herd and tagging of new calves. I also participated in routine TB testing.
