We are looking for a competent individual to assist with the day to day running of our 300 cow pedigree Holstein dairy herd.  The herd is all autumn calving, TMR fed, grazed from March to October and milked through a 15:30 fully automated GEA swing-over parlour, with auto ID, in parlour feeding and auto segregation.  Winter housing consists of cubicles with mattresses and auto scrapers.  The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an interest and passion for dairying.  Responsibilities will include twice daily milking, mastitis detection and control, dry cow management, calving (night checks on a rota), some foot trimming and other farm duties.  The ability to AI would be desirable but not essential.  Record keeping is via NMR interherd.



We are looking for an enthusiastic person who works well within a team, with high standards of cleanliness and animal welfare.



In return we are offering a competitive salary, every other weekend off, as well as regular time off and a 3 bedroom house on farm.

We are situated in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire with its fantastic beaches and stunning scenery. Lots of family activities nearby, as well as excellent primary and secondary schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a progressive, family dairy farm.

The position is available from June, but we will wait for the right person if need be.
