I am actively involved in Chippenham YFC and enjoy the social meetings as well as Rally competitions. I enjoy sea fishing on my grandfather's boat, off the coast of Pembrokeshire. I love a real Italian pizza too!

Farming background

Since I was about 12 years old I have helped my uncle on his dairy farm in Pembrokeshire every school holiday.

Below are the farming experiences I have had there and other places since: • Fencing • Occasional sheep handling work • Feeding cows and calves, including bedding down • TB testing • General sorting of livestock for market; moving round on farm etc • Assisting when needed during calving season • Tractor work: mowing; feeding; hauling and carting • Logging • Fencing • Tractor work: rolling and power harrow and TMR feeding • Assisted with milking and scraping out • Manure hauling; ploughing; muck spreading and hedge cutting.

More recently I have worked on an arable and beef farm that has diversified and developed an anaerobic digestive plant, which I have a big input in managing. I have helped out on all areas of the farm but taken day to day responsibility for the plant.

I currently work HGV driving on a bulker.
