Other livestock experience

28 years herd management, clean milking, foot trimming, AI, computer literate and quiet handling stock. Good record keeping skills and competent overseeing herd health protocols/vet routines. My last position I held for 6 years and was awarded 1st place NMR regional cell count award and 2nd in Health and fertility.

Experience with herd sizes from 180-650 cows. Have worked mainly in head herdsman/manager positions with pedigree/commercial herds including an 180 head organic herd. Was herd manager for Strutt and Parkers 650 cow Lavenham herd so used to running teams/doing rotas, etc. Last position held for 6 years. 220 Pedigree herd.
