I have also worked part time on my friends 300 head beef farm. At this job I completed a variety of rolls including grassland rotations, foot triming, de-horning and Slurry spreading and other general farm maintenance.

Farming background

I started off working with my dad on his 1000 acre arable farm alongside his 100 flock of sheep from the age of 7 over the years I progressed onto a variety of more important rolls such as night lambing and harvest work. I have also worked on five other arable farm's during harvest. The farms ranged from 900 to 7,200 acres. I enjoyed the variety of different jobs during my time at these farms and my highlight was contracting in New Zealand for 6 months in 2016/17.
