Worked on various livestock farms in New Zealand, Australia and Argentina while training horses. Spent 6 months after leaving school as a herdsman on a dairy farm. Whilst studying for a degree in agriculture I worked at an agricultural merchants and spent 2 seasons on sabbatical as a harvest worker on a small arable farm undertaking carting, cultivation's and general estate maintenance work. Since graduating I have spent nearly three years on a large predominantly arable farm and contracting business. Here as well as undertaking general farm worker and tractor driving duties I was responsible for running the grain-store for the in hand farming operation and also running a separate grain-store for a local estate. Last year I was engaged as a seasonal worker on a local mixed farm helping out with harvest, cultivation's, estate management and stock work.
